Super Bowl XLVII. Big day. Actually….since it’s not the Giants i technically could care less. But it’s the Super Bowl….and i haven’t missed one since i was old enough to eat solid food. Super Bowl menus are some of my favorite that i see all year. Some people have wings and various sauces that range from sweet to so-hot-i’m-dying. Some people have pizza and nachos. MY family does it up right with some Italian and Mexican greatness.

This dish, which is the most savory lasagna i have EVER tasted, has more ingredients than your typical lasagna, but it is SO worth it.

You will need:

1 tea spoon olive oil

2 jars of your favorite tomato sauce

1 small can of hunts diced tomatoes

1 box of no bake lasagna noodles

1 small bag of raw spinach

1 container of Parmesan cheese

1 bag of mozzarella cheese

1 16oz container of part skim ricotta cheese

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp garlic powder

1 package of morning star soy crumbles

Roll 1 tsp of olive oil in you aluminum pan, and add 1/4 cup of tomato sauce  Layer 3 no bake lasagna noodles. Add 1 bag spinach, then 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese on top. Next add 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Place 3 more lasagna noodles, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 16 oz container of ricotta cheese, Smooth over with a spatula.

Shake 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 tsp oregano  1 tsp garlic powder, then layer 3 more lasagna noodles. Next add small can of hunts diced canned tomatoes, then 1 bag of morning star soy crumbles.

Next add 1 cup mozzarella cheese, layer 3 more lasagna noodles, followed by 1 cup tomato sauce and give a big shake of Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
